Japanese encephalitis (JE) viruses were first
isolated from the brain of patients in 1924. After that, Japanese scientist
discovered the Nakayama stain, prototype for vaccine production, in 1935.
Understanding in virology, Beijing and P3 stain were isolated by
Chinese scientist in 1949. Since 1924, JE vaccines have been developed
